Job Description:

The primary role of the Senior Python Developer is to develop effective and python solutions that meet customer requirements.
Technical abilities include the following, Python, ETL (SQL), Business Intelligence (BI) best practices, data management, security and content administration, performance tuning, training, and system testing support.
This role will interface with the data scientists and research to support their implementation and reporting needs.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work with SMEs, data scientists, and project team to gather data capturing requirements and complete the scope definition for project planning phase.
  • Develop end-to-end Python-based pipeline to capture key data elements from our client systems and automate verification of algorithm findings. Integrate this pipeline with the overall data science pipeline to generate value for our clients.
  • Performs data analysis, gap and impact analysis
  • Uses documented procedures to create a source-to-target mapping, document code map capturing business and technical metadata, and complete data lineage.
  • Highly proficient in SQL skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze high-volume, high-dimensionality data from various sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques
  • Performs profiling of data captured by the pipeline, document results, and present findings
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams: data stewards, architects, data governance, data modeler, data quality, development, tech lead, and QA team to address data and mapping questions
