Job Description

Responsibilities

  • IGT is seeking a talented, hard-working full-stack Java developer to join our development team in implementing solutions using Java, Spring and Hibernate. We are looking for team players with experience delivering integrated solutions. 
  • Perform hands-on software design, development and testing. 
  • Build modular, reusable, and resilient components using test driven development. 
  • Document extensively and maintain clear and frequent communication with others. 
  • Become familiar with our current development environment quickly to gain context around our legacy and history of our product. 
  • Proactively resolve issues and keep up to date with latest technologies and trends
  • Perform code reviews, design reviews, profiling and troubleshoot issues

Qualifications

      • 3 years of database development (DB2 preferred) 

        Object oriented applications design and development with Java/Spring 

        Client-server and/or web service applications development 

        Ability to interface with customers to determine software requirements 

        Good communication skills, both written and verbal 

        Strong problem-solving skills 

        Strong attention to details
