Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains current knowledge of best practices in information technology, development processes, software architecture, and software release management
  • Analyzes software deployment requirements across multiple applications and modules
  • Provides architectural frameworks, design, and development leadership for all software release builds
  • Participates in deployment and release management development with software developer and database development leads
  • Creates development estimates and operational requirements to enable accurate planning with realistic timelines
  • Evaluates new application packages and tools and performs research on best DevOps practices
  • Builds automated deployments using configuration management technology
  • Verifies the functionality of components and services and ensures deployment meets client's expectations
  • Troubleshoots existing deployments to identify errors or deficiencies and develops solutions
  • Collaborates with other technical teams (Development, Database, QA Testers, Analysts) to ensure successful delivery of projects from testing to integration to deployment using an agile approach
