Job Description:

The Tableau Developer will create new reports for various parts of the business from marketing to test prep usage data. You will be able to gather requirements, research chart best practices, build static or dynamic prototypes, become familiar with the data structure to prepare the data for ingestion, obtain feedback and iterate on the charts/dashboards built in Tableau. The goal is to answer business questions in Tableau dashboards built for a specific audience from the C-suite down to the analyst. You must know data visualization best practices, how to select the right chart type, and create interactive dynamic experiences.

 Skills

  • Great taste and love for beautiful design

  • Working experience selecting and building data viz charts

  • Familiar with UI / UX best practices

  • Ability to present analytical data and strategic ideas in a clear, concise manner

  • Love for problem solving, multitasking, collaboration and a strong respect for deadlines

  • Tableau Public profile is a plus

  • Knowledge of probability and statistics is a plus

  • R or Python is a plus
