Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Amazon Web Services provisioning and create provisioning scripts which will define the Cloud infrastructure.
  • This will include defining Virtual Private Clouds, Elastic Cloud Storage clusters, Auto-Scaling Policies & Groups, and Security Groups.
  • Create Docker base images which can be used to contain and launch an application into the cloud.
  • Execute VM/Linux platform commands to push application code changes to the cloud development and higher-level environments, including production.
  • Provide Linux engineering & Virtual Machine support.
  • Create systems engineering scripts using Ruby and Bash.
  • Understand the user story requirements, perform requirements analysis and create associated development tasks.
  • Design, and determine how to program, solutions to implement user story requirements.
  • Develop the application code per the user story or design document.
  • Assist client in code reviews and design sessions.
  • Perform knowledge transfer to the client for developed code.
