Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1. Performs data analysis and ETL design on assigned projects.
2. Documents requirements, designs and develops SQL/ETL code/package(s).
3. Aids in gathering requirements, conducting business analysis, and writing technical design specifications.
4. Validates test plans and test scenarios; verifies test results.
5. Participates in designing and building SSIS package(s).
6. Adheres to Piedmont Clinic’s documented development standards and best practices.
7. Periodically engages practice based technical support and billing agencies for the purposes of automating practices to send claims data to CIT.
8. Performs problem determination (root cause analysis), document source of the problem and their solutions to problems.
 
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
 
Three years of experience with writing and debugging SQL Server stored procedures, and experience with Databases. Working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS. Extensive experience with SQL and ability to develop complex schemas.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
 
Skill and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in-writing.
Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Skill and ability in Microsoft Office applications.
SQL Server 2012 – SSIS, SSRS, and SSMS.
T-SQL Scripting.
In-depth knowledge of T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Indexes, Views.
Ability to work independently and close with Senior Developers to support ongoing projects.
