Job Description:

A successful .NET Software Developer will:

  • Participate in requirement gathering sessions to gather information for use in design and development. Develops software components directly from design documents.
  • Review code to ensure requirements and design compliance.
  • Ensure adequate unit test coverage using automated testing tools.
  • Monitors applications to identify where application stability, performance and maintainability can be enhanced.
  • Research relevant technologies and recommends product upgrades and alternatives.
  • Maintain development skills by continuing education through both formal training and personal study.
  • Assist as second level support for all applications.

Required skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in C# and/or VB.NET
  • Proficient in creating SQL Stored Procedures for SQL Server
  • Understanding of application server architecture
  • Understanding of OO Design and Analysis
  • Ability to code from a low-level application spec
  • LINQ To SQL or MS Entity Framework
  • Ability to work in high volume environment with deadlines
  • Transact-SQL a plus.net
