Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops direction and plans to continuously improve maturation, security posture, service levels, and efficiency of the security operations function; manages the implementation of said plans.
  • Plan, design and implement process, people, systems and tools required to comply with security best practices and meet contractual service commitments.
  • Directs the documentation of business processes, standard operating procedures, and best practices followed by the Security Operations function; ensures standards are adhered to by Security Operations.
  • Ensures the Security Operations teams are equipped with knowledge, training, systems and tools to deliver target business results, desired outcomes, and attainment of customer SLAs.
  • Develop strong and collaborative cross functional relationships within and beyond operations at Digital Hands, and with the sales channels and other operations impacting business partners.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing a SOC within an MSSP or as user of MSSP services is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience with managing and ensuring the timely response and investigations of security events and incidents by the security operations center.
  • Comprehensive understanding of SEIM, Firewall, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security Suites, DLP, NAC, Encryption, Web and Mail Gateways, Vulnerability management, and other security defense platforms.
