Robert Half Technology has an opening for an efficient problem-solver. The Business Analyst will evaluate customer needs to determine next steps. If you are a self-starter with strong technical understanding and excellent communication and social skills, this Business Analyst position may be for you. This long-term temporary opening is for a Business Analyst in the Houston, Texas area. 

Key responsibilities 

- Test and implement new corrections and improvements, working with development and QA teams 

- Invent and analyze product specification to meet business goal, working closely with development team 

- Develop detailed user stories and profiles 

- Handle analysis and review of business, technical, and functional specifications 

- Produce creative and accessible solutions for new product requirements 

- Assist with creating documentation for software solutions, using a customer-focused approach 

- Work together with designers to develop wire-frames, interactions, and user flows- Experience integrating with API backends 

- 3+ years of related experience 

- Mindful consideration of usability and application performance considerations 

- Proven ability in developing requirements and product specifications for new or existing applications 

- Deep understanding of Microsoft Word 

- Comprehensive knowledge of Linux 

- Expertise in Microsoft Excel
