Job Description

The .Net Development Manager designs, modifies, develops and implements software applications and solutions. Works as part of development team to maintain, enhance, and expand current systems according to business needs. Interacts with end-users to collect user stories and deliver effective software solutions. Provides team leadership and mentors junior and intermediate developers on the team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize tools such as ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Create compelling software solutions that provide value to both users and customers.
  • Create and maintain data-driven reports according to specifications
  • Passionate about learning new technologies and increasing personal development
  • Work with clients and consulting teams to solve client issues and exceed client requirements
  • Understand the benefits of process methodologies in conjunction with specific software application tools to enhance client environment
  • Plan, manage, and lead projects teams to deliver solutions
  • Manage, organize, and maintain goals established for project deliverables
  • Develop solutions to client problems via use of methodologies and software application tools, as well as being a subject matter expert on those solutions.
  • Demonstrate accountability to successfully realize client goals

Required Skills:

Successful candidates will likely have over 7+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to problems and issues.
  • Extensive experience gathering requirements and developing mockups/detailed designs.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Experience or understanding of some of the following:

  • Knowledge of OO Design, Design Patterns and TDD
  • NET/ .Net core / C#
  • SQL Server
  • JavaScript (jQuery, React, Angular)
  • Kendo UI
  • Visual Studio 2017/2019
  • Team Foundation Server/ GIT
  • Entity Framework
