Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Specialist – SFCC (Salesforce commerce cloud), you will translate client requirements into technical development, design schemas and integrate with content management solutions and search engines, unlocking the business value of SFCC. You will work closely with other commerce developers and architects on the team.

Primary Responsibilities:

•             Develop Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC (Salesforce commerce cloud)

•             Develop commerce features such as search, product details, personalization, and merchandising features such as catalog, pricing promotions etc.

•             Assist in architecting solutions around customer service, campaign management and data analytics.

•             Participate in architecting solutions using Commerce Cloud’s Open Commerce API (Shop, & Data APIs)

•             Interact with client stakeholders & other external vendors to create end-to-end specifications for ecommerce solutions.

•             Implement Demandware/Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions

•             Diagnose and solve technical problems related to commerce implementation

•             Define best practices to implement non-functional requirements like performance and scalability of the ecommerce solution.

Experience Guidelines:

•             5+ years’ experience in systems integration and custom development, commercial package implementation with multiple commerce platforms

•             Must have strong experience developing commerce application with recent SFCC (Salesforce commerce cloud) or Demandware

•             Mastery of ecommerce implementation specifically on SFCC (Salesforce commerce cloud) platform, MVC Pattern, Eclipse and ANT.

•             Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases.

•             Expert level knowledge and experience on SFCC (Demandware) Site genesis framework.

•             Sound knowledge & hands on experience using ISMLs, JS Controllers, pipelines, Demandware scripts, OCAPI and setting up Business Manager Configuration.

•             Integration experience with multiple third-party vendors using LINK partner cartridges. This includes, but not limited to, Payment gateway solutions, Loyalty vendors, Ratings& Reviews, Social Networking sites etc.

•             Experience with standard JavaScript Frameworks/APIs such as Angular/jQuery/React is a plus
