Job Description

Skills/Technologies:

  • Must: Java, JEE, Maven, Spring series, Unix, Web Services, PL/SQL.
  • Preferred: Domain Driven Design, Kafka, Restful Services, JMETER, Blazemeter, Cloud concepts, python
    • Advanced knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring technologies
    • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
    • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
    • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
    • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
    • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
    • Experience Utilizing Web Services and Java RMI technologies to improve interface/API and significantly enhance integration capability between front-end and back-end systems.
    • Cloud, GAIA technology a plus. Microservice experience also a plus. Should have experience working/deploying on UNIX operating system
    • Experience in IDE tools like RAD/Eclipse is necessary
    • Knowledge and understanding of SQL is must
    • Knowledge of UML design practices is necessary
    • Understanding of Spring Batch and middleware technologies like Web-sphere is a plus. Knowledge and/or experience in rule engine technology like WODM is an added plus

Responsibilities:

    • Delivering high quality Java code to support all the products across OPT Collections and Recovery application.
    • Work as a T-Shaped developer (coder/tester/BSA) in day to day activities.
    • Be a part of a fast paced agile team that delivers code into test environment on a bi-weekly basis.
    • Work on target state projects using the latest technologies implemented within the bank like Domain Driven Design, Photon, Kafka and Restful services.
    • Work on performance testing the services using JMeter and Blaze Meter .Build and auto deploy using Jules Pipeline.
    • Work on building Micro Services using Spring Boot and Rest API.
    • Work on Maven for the backend services
    • Work in service development of modules used within and outside the team.
    • Participate in Design discussions, Analysis and solution development with the Scrum Team and Product Owner.
