this is your opportunity to be part of that. The candidate will join the Medicare
& Retirement Individual Tools Development team, as a member of a software
development team utilizing the Agile software development methodology. The
developer will assume a key role on the team developing and maintaining tools to
support complex data collection and reporting applications.

The role's primary deliverables are
database design and development work. A strong use of SQL query language (T
SQL) and the ability to determine best design approach as well as understanding
the importance of performance tuning. As
part of our development team, you will predominantly be involved in building SQL
Server based solutions by creating new and modifying existing, SQL Server
objects. You'll stretch your skills and grow your career as a primary
contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and
supporting all types of database applications consistent with the established
specifications and business requirements in order to deliver business value.

The ability to work as a team - player
on an Agile Scrum team is also required, as the individual will be regularly collaborating
with other Stakeholders on the team.

This is a unique development role where all of your skills and experiences will
be used to create reliable and usable database solutions.

We are looking for a seasoned, self-directed
Individual who will work as part of a team who implements a large number of
changes required of us annually as well as working on new and existing business
directed initiatives. This position is
for an individual accustomed to working in Agile Scrum with a distributed team
most of whom are telecommuters. Team communication is via teleconference and
webex. You must be willing to partner remotely with teammates and deliver high
quality work within the given guidelines.

tough challenges.

5+ years of experience with relational
databases specifically MS SQL Server 2008 or later using Management Studio5+ years of experience in T - SQL,
including advanced queries, views, stored procedures, or functions5+ years of experience working in a Software
Development Methodology2+ years of experience working in an
Agile Scrum team2+ years of experience writing
technical documentationMust be available for after - hours
releases as frequently as twice a monthWillingness to accept on - call
responsibilities to respond to system issuesExperience with Source Code Control
