Provide development services on a team that supports a Global Operations tool in the VES organization.
The selected candidate will provide PL/SQL development for a Global Operations tool that integrates data from various data sources to form a cohesive business model which supports business intelligence.
Develop and provide support to all system interfaces and coordinate with business for requirements analysis, development and testing of all core modules.
Perform analysis, create technical design documentation and develop packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views and other database objects to support development efforts. Develop custom reports that integrate data from multiple LOB applications.
Perform regular check-in into source control tool. Address Jira tickets related to end-user enhancements and reported issues.
Must Have Skills:
Expert knowledge on Oracle 11 g /12c with PL/SQL and Informatica ETL.
Experience with datawarehousing and strong backend source loading and transforming data into structures that are utilized by reporting tools like OBIEE, Cognos or any other BI tool.
Ideal candidate should have experience with creating data models with relational and dimensional models.
Experience with UNIX/Linux is strongly preferred. Prior knowledge of working with telecom backend systems in Ordering, provisioning and billing is preferred. Excellent verbal, written, analytical and communications skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Ability to deliver on promised dates Excellent team, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
8+ year's experience as a database/ applications developer.

Prior experience in BI tools such as OBIEE, Qlik or Tableau.
