Bose is looking for an Android Software Engineer and help to create experiences that link their customer s products, mobile applications, and the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:-

Develop native Android applications and Android SDKs

Integrate applications with connected products and with cloud services

Scope, architect, and develop new products and solutions

Architect and support existing products and solutions

Required Experience:-

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional software development experience

Excellent Kotlin coding ability

Excellent experience in Reactive programming RX frameworks like RxAndroid and RxKotlin

Intimate experience with the Android API, e.g.: activities, fragments, services, content providers.

Experience using non-Google libraries, e.g. EventBus, Dagger 2, or other open source libraries

Experience writing multi-threaded/asynchronous code; solid understanding of process and thread model in Android application

Experience working as part of a team, ideally using Agile methodologies

Have worked on at least one application in the Google Play store

Basic Qualifications:-

Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly with technical teams and stakeholders

Highly collaborative and able to work as part of a cross-functional team

Able to create interfaces that support multiple device form factors

Ability to analyze performance of applications using Android SDK tools, and to act upon analysis to improve performance

Able to use source control systems like Git. Familiar with branching strategies.

Solid understanding of unit testing

Able to lead the technical development of a project or feature with minimal direction

Preferred Qualifications:-

Code and process examples of past work

Experience building and animating custom UI components

Experience with Kotlin programming language on Andorid.

Experience with Reactive Programming (RxAndroid and RxKotlin)

Experience creating or supporting a SDK

Experience with Bluetooth or BLE notep
