Job Description

Business Analyst

Roles and responsibilities

    • Liaises with the business to capture, detail and fulfill business requirements
    • Manages strategic relationship with business with oversight of a portfolio of products
    • Details and provides requirements, data and use case analysis

  • Helps to elicit requirements using interviews, BRD document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, data volumes/capacity requirements, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
  • Drives and challenges business units on their requirements and adds value by providing innovative ideas
  • Assists the Project/Product Managers in project delivery and takes ownership of tasks assigned by the PM
  • Understands the key business processes for functions they support
  • Owns the transition of requirements from initial identification through development, IT, UAT and production.
  • Create functional test cases/documents and participates in functional testing prior to UAT and supports the business teams through UAT.
  • Supports the business in creating Functional Requirement understanding documents, suitable training documentation to help business and project Development team
  • Support the business in understanding process changes
  • Possess good SQL writing skills, knowledge on ETL and Data warehouse concepts, BI reporting tools
