Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Data visualization - Design and create Cognos framework models and reports, as well as Tableau dashboards to support business requirements

Support Business Analysts - understand business needs and help define requirements for reporting solutions

Data analysis - Perform detailed data analysis, understand data structure and content, write complex SQL queries

Establish standards - Follow data visualization best practices, performance tuning, create/maintain report design related templates and artifacts


Required Qualifications:


5+ years of Cognos administration, security, modeling and reporting as well as advanced experience developing complex models using Framework Manager
5+ years of advanced Tableau report development
5+ years of SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata or similar), including complex queries and stored procedures
3+ years of Healthcare claims domain knowledge in a data warehouse environment
3+ years of Enterprise Data Warehouse data models and dimensional modeling concepts
