Job Description:

    • Client is seeking a seasoned individual with proven hands-on experience in leading the implementation of SaaS-based software products which will involve working with clients and their business units and service organizations.
    • The individual will own the database development activities and assist in creating and maintaining SaaS database instances for new and existing customers.
    • This position requires the qualified candidate to be innovative and creative in solving complex problems and work in an environment where product definition and development can continually evolve and/or change. Ability to work in a team environment where Agile and ad-hoc development practices are followed, is absolutely required.

Job Duties:

    • Develop and maintain back-end database packages, procedures, functions, and views using Oracle 11g, PL/SQL, and SQL Developer
    • Design logical data models and physical schemas in Oracle 11g using ER/win
    • Develop and maintain product-level scripts to create tables, views, indexes, sequences,
      packages, and procedures
    • Develop and maintain DML scripts to effectively manage customer configuration components – customer-specific logic / behavior, customer-level configuration data, and customer data
    • Work closely with the product owners, engineers, and analysts to design, model, and develop database changes as part of onboarding new customers and supporting existing customers
    • Involve in data migration for customers and load data from customer eco-system to the
      BVM Suite (Business Value Management)
    • Develop scripts using tools such as SQL*Loader to load/integrate data between systems
    • Tune backend queries and procedures for better application and system performance
    • Assist in setting up test data required to validate the configured BVM solution for
      customers
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance, documentation, and other implementation activities as needed
