Job Description:-

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
•The right candidate will have strong SQL Server experience with specific DTS and SSIS upgrade knowledge. 
-Experience upgrading SQL 2008R2 or SQL2005 DTS/SSIS packages to SQL 2012 - 2017
-Ability to modify existing packages to support ongoing system and business changes
-Ability to participate in code review, analysis, and execution of packages and stored procedures to re-factor 
inefficient code
-Ability to troubleshoot problems with existing packages running on SQL 2008R2 and SQL 2012
-Document all aspects of migrated and new SSIS packages and security required for future maintainability
•Follow data standards and architectural patterns to resolve data issues
•Experience writing reports in Reporting Services
•Experience with clustered servers 
•Experience in data backup and recovery procedures
•Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource 
contention
•As performance issues arise, determine the most effective way to increase performance including server 
configuration changes or index/query changes
•Knowledge of SQL Server tools (profiler, SSMS, Perfmon, DMVs, System procs)
•Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative, work with DBA team and 
independently with minimal supervision
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
