Job Description

Description:  

  • Big data developer responsible for getting the database and extract transform load (ETL) code for Fiber Store application in full compliance with security compliance waves (CART waves) as well as making database, code and application instance ready for offshore access for VDSI & vendor partners.
  • Developer will need to go through and learn all the security requirements - CART, SOX controls, Financial compliance, California customer privacy act (CCPA),  General Data protection regulation (GDPR), Security framework requirements and translate them into code level actionable tasks. Developer will represent Fiber Store application on various security review calls and demonstrate compliance. Developer will inspect code to ensure compliance. Developer will be working few security task on his own and will coordinate rest of implementation tasks with other developers on team.
  • Developer will be working on desensitizing production data in development environment to gain offshore clearance. Developer will understand all the security compliance requirements, prioritize, implement and coordinate with other developers to make necessary application changes to meet compliance requirements.
  • 5-7 years of strong experience in writing complex extract transform load (ETL) jobs using pyspark , scala, python on Big data platform as well as PostgreSQL database. Development and deployment experience with Hive/ Hue, Zeppelin, Pyspark , Python, Oozie workflows, Apache Nifi, Presto connector, Linux VMs, Jenkins, Data governance using Informatica / Collibra.
  • Strong technical and business acumen to be able to correlate the business glossary with technical glossary.
