Must have – Big data experience and data lake – ETL Experience on Hadoop – 3+ years of experience
Must have - Good Experience in Hadoop / HIVE – Performance tuning – 3+ years of experience
Experience in tuning and troubleshooting performance issues with hive queries
Experience in Designing and creating Hive data models with partitioning, dynamic partitioning and buckets
Experience in Oozie and workflow scheduler to manage Hadoop jobs by Direct Acyclic Graph (DAG) of actions with control flows.
Experience in working on different file formats like Avro, Parquet, ORC, Sequence and Compression techniques like Gzip, Lzo, and Snappy in Hadoop.
Experience in creating real time data streaming solutions
Experience in ingesting large volumes of data using Sqoop
Knowledge of supply chain domain and business knowledge of Walmart processes is a pre-requisite
