Role: Java Software Engineer

Job description:

  • As a member of this technology team, you will provide technology solutions to the team of seasoned portfolio managers and traders. You will design and develop new capabilities that will help them efficiently perform their trading activities. Your passion for working with technology and investment professionals makes this a terrific opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing, developing and testing capabilities for the bond trading platform. This platform gives Clients’ Bond Portfolio Managers and Traders the tools they need to deliver the best returns.
  • Design and develop Java middle tier services with related frameworks and technologies such as Java Spring, REST, Camel, Jenkins, Tomcat, my Batis
  • Testing, troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Experience with SQL and analyzing data effectively
  • Reliably delivering high quality enhancements and fixes to the platform
  • Contribute to the end-to-end agile development process
  • Documenting and sharing your designs and code with the rest of the team
  • Troubleshooting and resolving development and production problems across multiple environments and technologies
  • Providing leadership and guidance for other middle tier development work offshore
