Job Description
<p><span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Duties</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Drives data analysis and exploration to understand current limitations. Documents end to end business data requirements. Identifies business data owners and leads data management efforts</li> <li>Defines sources of data and works with tech partners to ensure consistency within master domain models</li> <li>High proficiency in Tableau 10.5.x and manipulating Big Data within Snowflake (AWS)</li> <li>Ability to efficiently work in ambiguous environments as this data is new and still requiring mature governance and data quality analysis</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Key Activities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>SME for inbound data</li> <li>Maintains data quality for existing and newly integrated LSP/Factory data</li> <li>Uses data performance reports to drive partnership with Geo s, ILM and Origin Ops for improved data entry, accuracy and timeliness</li> <li>Maintains status of the data quality and communicates the status of the data quality</li> <li>Certifies when new data is available for use</li> <li>Educates and provides training to end users on how to utilize the data</li> <li>Take ownership thru communication skills and project / time management skills, keep leadership, fellow team players and clients informed of progress, challenges or setbacks in projects.</li> <li>Revise programs for corrections, enhancements or environment changes</li> <li>Ensures data security/privacy and monitors data usage</li> <li>Research and consult about potential and/or system changes</li> <li>Design, develop, test and deploy new Tableau dashboards</li> <li>Research source data and design queries that bring data into Tableau</li> <li>Strong technical documentation skills (coding, data mapping, schema design)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Required Skills</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Clear and effective communication</li> <li>Ability test and document end-to-end processes</li> <li>Logistics and transportation experience required</li> <li>High proficiency with dashboard design, visual storytelling, data visualization</li> <li>Strong SQL design, development and analytical skills</li> </ul>
