Job Description


  • Participate in project Scrum Team meetings and manage personal work backlog using Agile practices
  • Review features, user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications, software architecture and designs
  • Create manual test cases and procedures
  • Collaborate with development and architecture partners to identify quality goals, constraints, and risks to ensure adequate test coverage
  • Create appropriate test plans/strategies and develop contingencies and mitigations as needed
  • Estimate testing effort and manage execution of planned test activities
  • Execute manual functional front-end and back-end tests

Required Skills

  • Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle and QA processes
  • Understanding of QA best practices and tools
  • Skilled in functional and non-functional testing
  • Experience testing web-based and mobile applications in a Microsoft Azure DevOps Cloud Environment
  • Comfortable in an unstructured startup environment
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded
  • Ability to create quality assurance and testing strategies and to manage multiple projects & tasks simultaneously.
