<h2 class="jobdesc">Job Description</h2> <div id="jobdescSec" class="highlight-black"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br />Kforce has a client in search of a Network Engineer III in Temple Terrace, Florida (FL).<br /><br /><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong><br />* Individual will be responsible for complex and diverse networks working within a network management organization<br />* Provides technical support by analyzing LBW/HBW/UHBW circuit engineering data/routing, identifying new engineering paths as needed, and developing/implementing circuit engineering rearrangements<br />* Utilizes state of art network management software and tools to identify, isolate, troubleshoot &amp; resolve network problems in a multivendor/technology environment<br />* Coordinate all maintenance and repair activity in accordance with operational procedures<br />* Schedule, track, and implement complex changes to the network architecture<br />* Acts independently and exercises independent judgment and discretion within generally defined practices and policies to select appropriate methods or techniques for obtaining solutions<br />* May act as advisor to team members to meet schedules and resolve problems<br />* Work is varied within established activities and requires frequent interpretation<br />* Typically resolves complex problems which may require adaptation of standardized practices or precedent<br /><br /><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong><br />* Generally, requires a Bachelor's degree/Telecommunications degree and/or 2 -5 years of experience<br />* Requires a broad range of skills within the engineering discipline to effectively perform routine to complex assignments; Demands familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices<br />* Individual should possess strong people skills, both written, oral communication and time management skills are required<br />* Strong interpersonal skills are needed to team well with various Planning groups, implementation teams, project managers, field technicians, and other Verizon services personnel<br />* As workload changes, individuals should be versatile and flexible transitioning between engineering systems and teams<br /><br />Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
